About Monroe Park

Espresso A Go Go is proud to be located in a place with such rich history. Monroe Park is the oldest park in Richmond, Virginia, dating back to the 1850’s. The park wore many different hats, such as being used for agricultural expositions, military hospitals, and baseball games.

The wide open space allows for occasional public events, such as concerts, political rallies and protests.

The park is now heavily populated by the VCU community. It’s a great place for students, professors, and faculty to participate in outdoor activities with the convenience of being right on campus. We hope to provide exceptional coffee and sweet treats to those in the park, no matter where they are going.
